Woodgate: Fitness Director
Hi
my name is Mark Woodgate. I’m the owner and fitness director of Body
Blueprint Personal Training based at Bay
Bodyfit Health and Fitness Centre in the beautiful sunny Bay
of Plenty, New Zealand. (Currently servicing the areas of Tauranga,
Papamoa and Mt Maunganui.)
Health
and fitness has always been a passion of mine. At high school I
specialized in track and field and I excelled in the 100m sprint and
the long jump at national level. I also played 1st eleven soccer. I
always dreamed of being a personal trainer and helping people achieve
their fitness goals. Now I’m living that dream!
I’m
a nationally certified personal trainer. I also hold a certificate in
natural
therapies and I am CPR certified by the NZ Heart Foundation.
I’ve
been providing professional advice and personal training since 1994 and
in 1995 I created Body Blueprint Personal Training as I
wanted to provide real fitness solutions and help clients achieve the
best possible results.
I
specialise in body transformations and have
successfully
transformed over 1000 people with my Body Blueprint 12 Week Challenge. 5 of my clients have
placed in the
top 2000 in the world in the Body
for Life Challenge thanks to their amazing transformations. I
also work with athletes ranging from
swimmers, triathletes to strongmen, bodybuilders &
powerlifters,
and people who simply want to improve their
health, fitness and wellbeing.
The fitness industry is awash with information, much of it
conflicting! Therefore, it’s not surprising that people are
confused about the best way to train, the best way to eat etc. What’s
more, most health clubs give their members a one size fits all workout
programme. No wonder 80% of gym goers fail to make any
substantial progress!
That’s
why Body Blueprint was created, to take away all the confusion and to
provide you with a blueprint and plan of action that
delivers

Sara Sheets
Sara
recently moved to New Zealand from the United States. She holds a
Masters in Exercise Science and a Bachelors in Biomechanics/Exercise
Physiology. She has also travelled to multiple regions of the United
States to receive various group fitness certifications. Sara has
experience training with many diverse populations ranging from young
college students, to sedentary adults, to senior citizens, to those
with disabilities. Sara believes that her purpose in life is to
create life changing experiences for others through exercise. She
knows she can help anyone achieve their fitness goals. She has
watched many of her clients transform their bodies and tell her how much their quality of life has increased
since engaging in exercise. She has helped clients come
off their prescriptions for health related medications; including
medications for Type II Diabetes. Her clients have told her that many of these miracles
would not have been possible without her support and encouragement.
Sara
feels that her relationships with her clients set her apart from many
other fitness professionals in the field. She takes a personal
interest in each person she has the opportunity to work with. She
cares about the lives of her clients both inside and outside of the
gym. Her goal is to not only to increase
one’s adherence to an exercise programme; but also to increase one’s
overall quality of life and well-being. Her focus is on the impact
